"Know the origins of the problems."

In a shelter on the outskirts of Tijuana Mexico, a member of what would be called the "Honduran Migrant Caravan" urges the American people to become aware of the societal and structural issues that have caused him - and thousands of others from Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala - to risk their lives trying to get to the United States.

That is because the histories of those three countries, collectively known as the "Northern Triangle" is deeply intertwined with the economic and strategic interests of the US. His bet is that awareness might help change some of the policies that have created so much hardship for so many living in Central America.
